The 'Hepplewhite Chair', also called the 'shield back' is a classic piece. A timeless sophisticated and streamlined style that caught the fancy of English nobility since it's inception in the 18th century. 

The back can be customized into expansive shield shaped like ovals, heart back or medieval shields. Created by the distinctive cabinetmaker, George Hepplewhite, who laid down the rules for furniture making in his book 'The Cabinetmaker And Upholsterer's Guide,' this chair is his masterpiece.
