From reference to how the mouldings look and what the proportions should be, it was a revelation for us to see our own ‘Secrétaire inspired by Northern Italian rococo’, hand carved in teak wood with solid brass hardware, painted carefully by hand with sleek as a fountain pen carvings being the magic- it’s like a mirror, or water. It’s not something that would just transform your sense of space, it’s calming and centering. It’s timeless.
