Late Louis XV styled Oval Frame

Design should be taken ecstatically. One of the most rare designs to be revived by P & L is this late Louis XV styled Oval Frame with markings of Eros. 

The body of frame is deeply moulded with rare egg and dart carving from the inside, while the outer side is skilfully carved into acanthus foliage. The top is marked with Eros' quiver, stocked with golden arrows, a few roses and carefully chosen foliage tied together by our ribbon of The Unfurling.  

A subtle cartouche stays at the bottom, much like a museum plate. Finished in our signature patinated gold always executed by hand. 

Why do we make such complicated and difficult pieces - because the heart wants what it wants.
