Terms and Conditions

 

1. GST
All our quoted prices are inclusive of prevailing GST rates.
2. Payment
An upfront deposit is required initially to place your order and to receive a
formal invoice at the time of dispatch. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining
balance must be paid and cleared prior to delivery.
3. Delivery
Parrot and Lily Pvt. Ltd does not charge separately for deliveries pan India. However,
for addresses that are listed as ODA (out of delivery area) with partner courier
services, an additional charge might be incurred by the client. The brand reserves the
right to ship the pieces by courier or road transport based on our discretion.
For any clarifications kindly get in touch with our team. We only delivery once the
accounts are cleared and post clearance, we take 3 to 7 working days in final
finishing and packing of the pieces.
4. Delivery Dates
All delivery dates quoted at the time of your order are estimates. At Parrot
and Lily we make every effort to ensure we meet these estimates, it is
possible that circumstances beyond our control may cause delivery dates to
be changed & delayed, however, any delay in delivery dates will not entitle
you to any sort of compensation. Cancellation of the order will still be subject
to our cancellation policy which can be seen under the "CANCELLATION"
section of the Terms and Conditions.
5. Storage
Once your ordered goods/pieces are ready, we will call to make arrangements
for a delivery post account clearance. We can only store your furniture at our Atelier
for a maximum 15 days and storage charges will incur afterwards. The pricing will be
based on the value and sizes of the furniture you have purchased and will not
exceed Rs. 5000/day
8. Access
We do not take any responsibility of courier company delivering the pieces to your
door step. Sometimes the boxes can be delivered at the road level of the parking and
you might have to arrange labourers to take them inside the home.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the products can be delivered to your home/
office and to their chosen location. It is therefore essential that you discuss any
possible restrictions much in advance. You should consider the vehicle access, lifts,
staircases, and narrow corridors while discussing this with our team. If we choose to
send your pieces via road logistics, the truck driver will not be held responsible totransfer your good inside the house. We will request you to please have help or
labourers arranged for smooth working.
9. Minor damages to your property during delivery
Parrot and Lily does not accept liability for any marks or scratches that occur
during the delivery of goods to the property though no such incidence has
taken place in the past. It is important to understand that despite our best
efforts to safely deliver minor marks or scratches can occur at properties, on
floors, walls, etc. Parrot and Lily explicitly disclaims any liability in the rare
event these issues arise.
10. Differences in Actual Product
There may be slight differences in tone or shade of fabrics due to differences
or changes in rolls as well as other factors such as lighting or angle of
perception. Some fabrics may have natural occurrences that may not be
deemed as a fault. Products, including but not limited to dining tables, TV
units, beds, chairs and other similar items, may exhibit variations in pattern
and color due to the natural characteristics of the raw material used in
production. These variations are a natural outcome of the process and are not
considered defects.
12. Measurement
It is the customer’s responsibility to measure their homes before purchasing
furniture.
13. Limited Warranty
All goods are supplied with at least 2 years' manufacturer's warranty from
the date of delivery. Additional charges will incur for any additional parts or
for any after-sales requests after the warranty period expires. Please ask for
pricing. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the product before
purchasing. However, we may carry out the repair work, if the customer
agrees to pay towards the cost but the final decision rests with Parrot and
Lily.
This limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored
incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, or cleaned with
the wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products. This limited warranty does
not cover normal wear and tear, cuts, scratches, or damage caused by impacts
or accidents. This limited warranty does not apply if products have been
placed outdoors or in a humid environment. This limited warranty does not
cover consequential or incidental damages. Some products are handcrafted,
and variations in stitching, seams, and tufting may occur. These are inherent
characteristics of handmade furniture and do not constitute defects. Minor
cosmetic issues such as creases, wrinkles, or irregularities in the fabric or
leather are considered normal and are not covered under warranty. Some
materials may experience fading over time when exposed to direct sunlightor harsh conditions, such as toxic cleaning routines. Fading is a natural
occurrence and is not considered a defect.
Parrot & Lily will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if
it is covered under this limited warranty. If considered covered, we through our own
service operations, will then, at our sole discretion, either repair the
defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product.
Customers will not be entitled to compensation or refunds for the delay.
14. General Care
The products supplied are to be used for the general purpose which they were
designed for. We will not take any responsibility for the misuse of products.
15. Cancelling Your Order
All of our goods are specially made for our customers therefore, once the
customer gives the order, the order cannot be cancelled without covering the
cancellation fee. The customer can cancel the order only two weeks before
the delivery, by paying 75% of the invoice (order) amount. If the customer
fails to pay the cancellation fee or fails to pay the outstanding invoice amount
before the delivery then Parrot and Lily has the right to recover the same
through judicial proceedings in the Court of Law with Jurisdiction at
Roorkee, District Haridwar, Uttarakhand
